  • Looks like a majority of the reviews is on the staff and not the phone itself so it makes me feel better that I got at least a good phone. Just need to find a different location. After being with TMobile for 22 years, Sprint is running a 50% off monthly rate for new customers for switching. I got the IPhone 5S which is $12.50/month plus $32 monthly reg fee. I had Art, who is in training help me. The first thing that told me this wasn't going to go well was when I asked to see their IPhone 5 and he pointed at the 6 that I was just looking at. I asked him again, "This is the 5?" and he nodded yes - there were signs too saying it was a 6...oh boy... I knew there were people that could help if I had more questions so I continued with the deal since I knew what a 5 looked like. I asked him if he would transfer everything over and he said yes, all pics and apps etc would be transferred. I asked what colors he had and he had to go ask someone and came back and said they have it in black and pointed to the silver 6 iPhone (it's a 5 to him). I asked what are the monthly pricing and he had to go ask someone again. He brought out my phone, it's not the same silver color as the 6 (IPhone 5 to him) that he showed me but I took it. So my out the door price was $61 and I asked him to explain how that came about because he told me it was only $30 activation in the beginning. He said it was $30 activation plus tax. $31 in taxes?!?! He said it was around 8% so I told him that would be only $2.40. He agreed and fumbled around the computer. He asked me to swipe my card and I told him I wanted to see what I was paying for first. He said he ALREADY WENT PAST the screen that showed the breakdown. So you can't go back to that screen when you can't even explain why you're charging me this amount? We figured it out that $31 included tax for the phone. Once this was explained, I was fine -- just don't rush me into paying when you can't explain the charge. Next he showed me what my first bill would look like - It showed it was going to be $97! He started getting flushed when I asked why I would be paying over $97 on my first bill when it should be under $50. The whole point of me switching is to pay less remember? I just paid $60 upfront. He asked another guy to explain the bill for me. The 2nd guy said I had to pay a pro-rated fee of 1.5 month on top of the first month bill. What? After that explanation, Art had my agreement showing that my first bill would really be just half of the $97 that was originally printed out SO both of these guys were just saying anything hoping they could get me so confused that I would eventually accept it!!! He couldn't explain how/why it was now less. He made a comment if I knew what happened and I said, "that's you're job to explain to me". I asked to have that printout but again - He ALREADY WENT past that screen and didn't know how to get back!! After 1 hour and 45mins, I left with my phone. Of the 300+ photos on my old phone, ONLY 1 photo was transferred...My house plant.
