  • I don't feel right writing this review because I have a rather neutral opinion on their actual products, but I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the Neapolitan on my last Vegas trip. Cocktails and ice cream sounds like the perfect mixture of naughty fun for adults but while the concept was a great idea, the execution of the Neapolitan was off. It's also not unique in that there's other places that have alcohol-infused desserts, but when In Vegas... We discovered the hard way that in order to get to the Neapolitan, you do NOT take the escalators for a one-way shot to the 4th floor. Find the elevators that lead up to the rooms and pool instead, and take it to the 4th floor. Once there, you may or may not be checked for a room key to enter the pool area because The Neapolitan is tucked away in a little corner. Luckily for us, the ladies at the front let us through without being guests of the Cosmopolitan. Score! Unfortunately for us, it was only 10:30 AM and while the store wasn't closed because the door was unlocked, no one would be working there until 12 PM (hours are Mon-Sun 12 PM - 6 PM). While we were walking away disappointed, some nearby male employees happily assisted us instead and told us that they'd try and scramble something up for us. Kudos for them because they ended up being able to offer us two choices on the Adult Popsicles portion since they were readily available and didn't need much preparation. We opted for 2 "She's My Cherry Pie" (spiked with Luxardo Morlaco Cherry Liqueur, Giffard Orgeat, Coconut Cream, Morello Cherry Puree, Luxardo Cherries & Graham Cracker Pie Crust) for $10 each. The popsicles hold their shape and don't melt the same way by dripping a mess everywhere the same way a normal popsicle would. It was only after 15 minutes had gone by that we noticed it starting to lose its integrity to turn into a limp popsicle. It eventually fell off the stick as a gigantic lump before being completely eaten. It seems as if the flavors on their menu changes, but regardless of the changes, there's a limited number of options (less than 10 items on the entire menu). Jamie M. put it best when it comes to a basic review of the Neapolitan: Been there, done that. But the staff boosted the overall experience to a 4 from an a-okay 3.
