rev:text	Alrighty here, let's see. I've seen many folks over the years (2 craniotomies, other stuff.) I am very mild mannered, and don't have any issues with nor do I get easily intimidated by doctors' offices. I've always found medical personnel to be superior, above average, average, and in 2 rare instances, below average. However, not today. The nurse practitioner (Susan Hawrylkiw) who saw me before the doctor came in is hands down THE worst medical professional I've ever seen. Like off the charts bad. She barely introduced herself before transforming the exam room into an interrogation room where she seemed to take pleasure in being the bad cop. (There was no good cop.) She immediately hammered me with questions. I had no time to think & stumbled. If I didn't answer the question immediately or how she wanted (evidently there are "right" answers @ my own feelings/symptoms?) she interrogated me, asking me the same question over and over (e.g., "What are the episodes like?" "well, they. . ." "WHAT are they LIKE?" "I, uh, they. . ." "WHAT ARE THEY LIKE?!" "?!") This was a rare time that I felt intimidated in a doctor's office. I felt like a cornered cat & began returning some of the aggression (I raised my voice a little bit.) She left for a while and presumably discussed my case with Dr. Hetrick. (Don't know what there was to discuss--I did not have the opportunity to answer any questions.) He came in & spoke with me for 15 minutes (by then it was an hour after my 8:00 am appt.), was friendly, and smiled, but my husband and I both knew my concerns were by then completely dismissed. (Can't be certain, but I'm guessing I was pegged as some sort of neurotic hypochondriac. Mayo & Barrow would say otherwise.) It all happened so fast that I honestly don't remember what was discussed. (If you're not able to contribute I guess that's technically not a discussion--it's one person being talked at.) Receptionist asked me to sign paperwork on the way out. I refused & said I would not be returning. Husband & I were incredulous. Looked at each other perplexed the entire way home.
