| - I like Blind Beggar, I really do.
It is small, inexpensive and fun. Indy bands, t-shirts hanging from the ceiling, shaky tables, lots of noise, folks of all backgrounds sharing the space...
Good food. Yes I firmly believe that food should be good, even if you came mostly for the drinks. Right for the price and portion size.
Service is honestly friendly, and kitchen works reasonably fast when there are lots of people stuffed inside.
The place itself is rather smallish, so may be a bit difficult for the huge groups, but this helps keeping the parking lot available for those driving by.
There are more impressive, more expensive, more whatever bars - but Blind Beggar is still a good spot to check out.
