  • I was nominated for the Power Communication course by my employer and I dreaded it from the moment I was told. I made up my mind that I was not going to enjoy it and just "do my time" until I could get back to work to get caught up from the 2 days that I missed. What a life lesson I learned. I thought that I, at 41, had already matured and learned all I needed to know. This course and I my classmates changed me. Rapport+ teach us things that we already know, as members of a civilized society, but the way in which they point out how your narcissism affects people around you is heart wrenching. I entered as a closed off and bitter individual and left as an open and rejuvenated member of a "work" family. I know that we will keep each other accountable as we re-enter our work environment and I hope that I get to experience the magnitude of the change after ALL employees get the opportunity to experience this attitude altering class.
