  • Since our move my gf has visited over 6 hair salons. never to return because she never had that 'Beauty Salon Experience'... until De Berdardinis hair salon at Fairview Mall. This is her experience in her words, I arrived at my appointment, right away my stylist Dominic made me comfortable by taking my coat and offering me a variety at beverages (espresso and cappuccino included) I opted for a delicious cappuccino! I Then met my colorist Alex, and I finally had a proper consultation! We went over my hair history and discussed what I wanted. He offered colour examples/samples to help compare and envision. He was very knowledgeable and i felt confident with the colour before I saw the finished outcome (which was just as incredible as Alex described it and I envisioned it). Afterwards Domenic rinsed out my colour and proceeded with what I thought would be a regular mundane shampoo and wash but instead I was pleasantly surprised to receive a deep tissue scalp massage along with a warm towel wrapped around my neck. The experience was so relaxing I fell asleep! At Domenic's station we discussed the type of style I was thinking about. The consultation was very thorough with picture examples and pin-up mock styles with my own hair to better envision how the cut would look. He was extremely knowledgeable with up to date trendy styles and cuts that would suite and compliment my face structure. He also kept me part of the cutting process (explaining the cuts and products) which i found very comforting, being used to the alternative of hairdressers hacking away at my hair and me cringing in my seat. I found Domenic very friendly and the conversation did not feel forced at all. Before I knew it he was all done, and I had a fantastic new colour and style! I left (not before booking another appointment mind you) feeling like I finally had that 'Beauty Salon Experience' I've been searching for along with a feeling of relaxation! :D
