  • I tried Cañonita for breakfast. The atmosphere is outstanding! The restaurant sits in the "river" inside where the gondolas go up and down with people. The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. I ordered the carnitas omelette. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it because I've never tried eggs with any "enchilada" sauce on them or eggs with any type of meat in them. It was really delicious! I wasn't a huge fan of the potatoes. I thought maybe they needed more seasonings. The restaurant is small but it feels like you are in a different part of the world. It also had a bar. I didn't order and alcoholic beverage but I noticed that they did have happy hour and they had a variety of different options for margaritas. I also did notice that the restaurant makes their own tortillas and you get to see the lady working hard to make them as you eat your food. The kitchen is out in the open which is always a nice thing to see. It means it's clean! Overall, I recommend this location to everyone!
