  • This is the third time we've used Townsley Portraits, so clearly we're very pleased with the quality of the photographs and Stuart's professionalism and expertise. He has creative ideas for the shots and was great at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were limited to a single weekend for the session because I had family flying in for it, but their office was able to find a time/day that worked within those constraints. The photos came out really nice, and we liked the many combinations we had tried during our session. Five stars for quality, professionalism, and efficiency. Like a few other reviewers, I think the pricing is on the high side (but justifiable to some extent) and took one star off for that. I understand that a Groupon/Living Social type deal is built on that model (low cost of entry to encourage a sale on the back end) and that the pricing has to offset the discounted session cost. I agree that we are paying for quality, but the packages are definitely structured in a way that makes it cost prohibitive for us to book these sessions on an annual basis for things like holiday cards.
