  • I give this place 1 star for cleanliness and a few of the products they sell for the prices are great, but ummm Fry's you need better employees. I have a much better experience shopping online at Amazon. If you are looking for top of the line stuff with the best deals, you'll be disappointed because I found everything I needed at the best price not at Fry's, like my executive office chair (Hbada on Amazon under $200 tag price over $1k, reclines to 120 degrees with arm rest, ugh back support, great design, comfortable cushion and breathable back mesh, great brand experience with photo instructions, complimentary neck rest), mouse pad (Razor on Amazon, for fast performance and fits in your laptop to travel with), mouse (Costco same one as Fry's but cheaper), keyboard (cheaper on Amazon), iPhone 8 Plus case (Clear Speck case at Target on clearance $11.99), the only reason why I came here was because they had AirPods in store for pick up the day I checked online since I didn't want to wait for them. Though they have never been known for their customer service. This place is huge and it can be difficult to navigate if you haven't been here before. Even with the signs their own employees don't know where things are. The first time I was here I asked the guy at the entrance where the AirPods would be he said by the computers and laptops in the back. They were closing in 15 minutes so I didn't have time to run around like a mad woman. Long behold I walk to the computer section and go down the aisles, but only saw keyboards, mice, and mouse pads. So I asked a girl in the computer section where the AirPods would be she said by the entrance. So then I have to run back to the front and went down each aisle since I didn't see anyone there to ask for help. There was one other gentleman that seemed just as lost as I was. Frustrated and pacing down each aisle twice and still couldn't find it. I found Apple phone cases, but no AirPods. Finally, someone comes over in a red shirt and the gentleman asked for his assistance first as I patiently waited. Turns out it was in the glass case below the cell phones. I wouldn't have been able to grab it on my own. He had to print some slip out and drop it by the register and when I was ready it would be up front for me to pick up. When you exit, have your receipt out to show the doorman so he can check it off with a highlighter like Costco does. Brought the AirPods home and noticed on the second day it made static noise. Happened a few more times and my business partner said I sound like I'm yelling on the phone with the headset on sometimes. So I came to exchange it today. Luckily, it was only 8 days ago when I bought it so I had no trouble. But just like the first time, except worst the gentleman I stopped to ask for help was not happy to see me and did not greet me and did not want to help me. He said for me to ask this one girl who works in that aisle and he was wrong she did not, but at least she was friendly. I had to hunt down the guy who did as he walked around with a canister in his hand asking customers if he needed help. I believe it was he same guy that helped me before. Went to the register to exchange and my cashier had the look of confusion when I told him I'm exchanging these and that a gentleman had dropped off the AirPods up front here. I had to repeat myself, but he got it finally. Good employees are hard to find. The guy next to him seemed a bit more competent and had better energy.
