First, be sure to check the 'Not currently recommended' section of reviews. For whatever reason, most of the positive reviewers didn't 'star' their review so they didn't get in.
Second, a lot of the reviews here are based on a lot of bad knowledge or 'this guy said'. Someone complained here that their car needed work and it 'only had 42000 km on it'. That's just silly.
I have taken a bunch of cars here over the last decade at least, going back to when they were a Certiguard.
On the plus side: They do high-quality work and stick to their estimates, both time and cost-wise. While there have been bumps over the years (all minor), all got resolved quickly and without question or cost.
On the somewhat negative side: They aren't cheap, and they certainly won't be the cheapest store around. With all things in life, it's always cheaper somewhere but car repair is one of the reasons 'You get what you pay for' is said. The other issue, and this does pose a problem sometimes, is that they are quite busy and you sometimes need to wait for an appt. or (as one other reviewer noted) you may not be able to get that 'quick thing' done.
