Dinner at Zen Garden - arrived around 8 pm and the restaurant was almost full. We were seated at a large table even though we were two. The waiter was friendly and all smiles.
The interiors are done well and in some way refer to "zen" theme. Although a little too noisy for complete zen.
The menu is comprehensive and it took us some time to narrow down what to eat. Right from dim sum and dumplings to hot pot and all thats in between.
We ordered the pumpkin corn soup. It was thick and creamy. Comfort food for a cold night. Then came the steamed dumplings. It was a little unsettling to the palate to not have meat in the dumplings.
The star of the show was the Enoki mushroom balls. Crisp mushrooms with a ribbon of seaweed around them. Fried and served on a bed of Yu choy greens. All topped of with iced lemon tea. Guilt free good food. Recommend!
