  • I used to go to the McDowell location of this office, but since I changed jobs, this location is more convenient. Unfortunately, I think I will find a different optometrist for my appointment next year. This location makes you come in for an initial glasses/contacts exam. Then they make you come back for ANOTHER appointment to "finalize" your contacts prescription before they will order you any contacts. Ain't nobody got time for that! And it's weird because they never made me do that at the McDowell location. I will say that I really liked the demeanor of Dr. Wilkens and her front desk staff. Also the guy who helped me pick frames and lenses for my glasses was really helpful. I'm very happy with how my glasses turned out. but... no, I only want to come in for one appointment per year- not two!
