Leather sofas probably have seen more action than any other piece of furniture in any given home. From being cast as unwitting backdrop furnishings for amateur porn films, to suffering abuse at the paws of household pets and being the seating of choice for dodgy weed dealers and their equally shady yet eccentric custies, what is a suburban home without this hallmark piece of furniture?
Our own old leather sofa, had much, much less of a chequered past yet was due for a change-up as it reeked of the stereotypical ugly and beat-up sofa aesthetics one would find at a Bad Boy's or Leon's, so off to EQ3 it was for our sofa makeover.
I was surprised at the fair selection of styles at EQ3 and by comparison to a couple other places (C&B, West Elm and Pavilion) we'd scanned for leather sofas, the pricing, workmanship and textures seemed to be the most suited to what we wanted. Best of all our service associate was actually kind enough to take our favourite style into consideration and suggest for us to wait for their discount event that was happening in the following months so we could save an extra 20% off, which we thought was pretty decent.
We ended up choosing the simple "Solo" style of sofa http://eq3.com/cat-eq3/process/locale/en_CA/currency/en_CA/page/70480-01.html which was custom ordered in a tobacco hued and grained leather and was ready to ship within about two months for hubby's man cave gentrification. We couldn't have been happier with the service and our new comfy yet chic couch from EQ3, even if hubby still falls asleep on it while eating Cheetos!
