I always believe that honesty is the best policy.
Doctor's secretary called this pharmacy to confirm that they took the insurance we had for two prescriptions. The pharmacy said yes so the doctor's staff sent the prescriptions digitally to them.
When we got there and the prescriptions had been filled (the next day because they didn't fill them on the same day), we were told that only ONE of the prescriptions was covered. This is not what they told the doctor's secretary (which was done in my presence).
So we had out of pocket expenses which we did not have to have. We were told that Walgreens would have covered both by insurance. So why not tell us that BEFORE we sent the prescriptions to you?
Underhanded and dishonest.
Not the kind of place I want to do business with.
