| - Do not waste your money. I scheduled a 1.5 hour cleaning that was supposed to be with three people. They told me on the phone that there depending on maid availability, I could possibly receive 2 or 4 people and the time would be prorated accordingly.
I received two young ladies (high school? college?) who came at the right time and were actually very friendly. Because it was 2 people, the agreed upon time was 2 hours instead of the 1.5 with 3 people. I watched them for a bit and then left to run some errands and eat a quick lunch. They seemed to be working really hard--getting on their knees just like advertised.
I came back to the house and they were just milling around not doing much. I inquired about the situation and the "leader" told me that they were done, which I assumed that my apartment had been much easier to clean than expected. My watch said they had been here for less than 1.5 hours and certainly not 2. I asked her if that was the 2 hours and she said, "yeah, just about!!!". REALLY??? Maybe they calculate time a lot differently in their universe...I didn't say anything about it because they seemed friendly. I just shrugged, tipped them, and let them leave.
Then came the fun part. I inspected my apartment. It was....NOT CLEAN. NOT CLEAN.
Then I realized what it was that they do. Instead of cleaning stuff--they just WIPE it on the surface. If can't be cleaned by a simple wipe--they just quit. No scrubbing or anything. Just. WIPING. Sink, stovetop, toilet, were all in UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION. They even neglected to mop the floors!!! I didn't have anytime to clean and had to leave which is why I called them over. If I had known they didn't actually clean stuff--then I would not have called them. I had to clean everything again. It wasn't as if they ran out of time either as they had been paid for 2 HOURS.
I was pretty pissed off and called their customer service. They were friendly--but seemed to think that it was not really their fault at all--there were just some areas in my house that they felt were just too hard to clean? At least when I complained about the time difference--they investigated, agreed, and only charged me for 2 people at 1.5.
Never again.
