| - My cousin got married here last summer. It was a shitty place. The tea ceremony upstairs was in this dingy, hot as hell room with no air conditioning, peeling walls and stained carpets. The chairs were all ragged to shit. I feel like they use the room to hold wild animals that shit and piss everywhere while gnawing at the walls or something.
So we leave the room because the ceremony is over and go to find some cold water and a bite to eat. There's a restaurant on the main floor and a sports bar on the lower floor. Perfect, right?! Nope. These fucks won't let you eat or drink there because it's members only. Which is fine, I guess, if they were nice about it. But they weren't. They were assholes. Uppity as all hell. There weren't many signs about this member only business. Only rude ass staff who seem to get joy from bringing their own life misery upon others when given the chance.
Even the bartenders were dinks who wouldn't serve drinks without mixing them with something because "our manager told us not to". Fuck you - I want to enjoy a nice glass of scotch without you adding some coke to soil it, ass. Don't ruin a perfectly good drink because your managers suck. But alright, whatever, at least they weren't jackasses about it like their bosses would have been.
Food was terrible, too. The salad was about as bad a salad as I've ever eaten. The cheese on it was closer to the cardboard family then the dairy family. And the tomatoes weren't fresh. I think they store them in the same room we had the tea ceremony. The other dishes were bland and overcooked. I guess the dessert was ok.
Here's why it gets two stars instead of one (which I've never given but this place came close). There were exactly three staff members who were nice. One was a lady who brought us some water bottles after we were blasted out of the restaurant because we were dripping buckets of sweat. Thank you nice lady. Another was a waiter who served us at bar downstairs. He got RIPPED by a coworker lady who had nothing better to do except yell at him. She didn't have to take the order, our money, clean the tables, cook the food or bring us anything. She just decided to treat this guy like shit for no other reason than she sucks at life. Thank you nice waiter dude and sorry you have to work with that trash. And the final nice guy was some foreigner who didn't speak much English, but helped me take my Grandma up the service elevator after the ceremony was over because she couldn't take the stairs. Thanks, man, I appreciate it.
I'll never come here again.
