I finally brought my family here to dine in instead of take out. We had the fried Mozzarella as a starter. It was very good. The crust flavor was perfect and the cheese tasted like it was fresh made.
We then progressed to a small pizza (actually the same size as a Papa John's large) with pepperoni, mushroom, black olives, and sun dried tomatoes on it. I'd never had sun dried tomatoes before but they tasted much like a candied tomato. They were very good and the combination of flavors on our pizza was perfect. The crust was one of the best I've had. Not too thick, not too thin. The flavor of the crust was really spot on as well.
We finished our meal with a flour less chocolate cake. It was very rich but was actually very good. If it were just for one person it would be too much to eat after a great big meal. However, since it was split between the 3 of us it was just right.
Service was good overall. We thought the waiter was a little slow to clear our plates but he was Johnny on the spot with drinks. To me, that means more. I'd rather be left to look at the dirty empty plate as a memorial to the wonderful meal I'd just consumed than have a clear table with an empty cup.
