  • Run!!!!!!!!! I asked if they do lash extensions, the person doing my pedicure said they did and that they could do it while I was there, I went into the back room and befor the girl started I asked her if she was going to apply them to the ends of my lashes, her answer was yes, when I asked what length she was using she said 2 different lengths, during the process I asked if the glue was formaldehyde free because my eyes were burning her answer was "I'm sorry I don't understand" one of my eyes became glued shut, she pulled it open and said it was my fault because I blinked, I repeatedly asked if it should burn, she said "oh I think yes because it's your first time" when she was done I put my glasses on to look at them in the mirror, before I could look into the mirror I noticed that every time I blinked I had a sharp jabbing pain in my right eye, I noticed I had 2 globs of black glue stuck to the inside of my eyelid, when o showed it to her she took a cotton ball and tried to wipe it off,it felt like she put acid in my eye, when I asked her what she was using she said alcohol, I asked her to stop, and explained that it wasn't safe to put alcohol in people's eyes, she then proceeded to jab at my upper inner part of my eyelid with what I think was a pair of sharp tweezers, again I asked her to stop,at this point. I'm in agony,I suggested Vaseline thinking its a petroleum based product it might work, she then went out and got another girl who told her something and grabbed a white bottle out of a drawer, and shoved it at her, they weren't speaking English so I didn't know what was going on, because I had my glasses on I was able to read some of the bottle it said LASH, so I assume it was for removing the lashes, she then dipped a q tip into it and jabbed it into my eye as she was leaning in to what I felt was scrape at the glue with her fingernail, fearing blindness I asked her to stop, I put my glasses on to look into the mirror and that's when I saw the false eyelashes they were the little clumps of 3-4 lashes in a bunch, they weren't the standard single lashes that are traditionally used for lash extensions, and they were hap hazardly glued in sloppy clumps to the center portion of my lashes( you know this is going to damage my already sparse lashes) right now it's 1:16 in the morning my right eye is on fire, both of my eyes feel scratchy and it's uncomfortable to blink or close me eyes, tomorrow morning I'm going to find an eye professional that can evaluate my eyes, and advise me if I'm at risk for infection or any kind of damage, please don't go there for your own safety they are willing to risk infection, and or eye injury just to make a buck! I don't think the girl is licensed or has even watched an instructional video on how to apply lash extensions, and I don't blame her I blame the salon manager/owner, I'm filing a report with the state board of cosmetology and I consulting an attorney Monday morning.
