First: There is new management and a new owner and a new name. It is now called Puerto Rico Latin Bar & Grill.
This name is a misnomer because there is NO bar.
Second: (and most importantly) the food is fantastic. The menu has just enough meals to satisfy anyone who craves some Puerto Rican food when good ole mom is far away.
In the past I've had the Mofongo with Carne Frita. Mofongo was awesome but the Carne Frita was cut into large pieces and overlooked. I just had the Pernil w/arroz con gandules and its worth recommending.
Service is good although sometimes a bit slow.
The new owner is a friendly fellow but sometimes goes a little overboard in continuing to talk to you well into your delicious meal. That's just my opinion so take it for what it's worth.
