Smaller portions (compare the pictures on yelp with the styrofoam containers to the current plastic ones), cheaper ingredients (taste and quality varies depending on day), surly disinterested young employees (oh you will see if you go and there is more than 1 person in line). I couldn't figure out what was going on until I read online that the owner, who's grandparents started the shop in the early 70's, had lost the business to his ex wife. Then it all made sense. You can see, taste and pay for the difference. Now it is nothing more than a run of the mill custard in the ghetto. Sad but it will still live off its reputation for a few more years, then everyone will start to catch on and not just fans that have been coming for years. Here's to the current owner's realizing the errors being made and just go back to the way it was. Its freaking custard is it really going to kill the biz to spend an extra .20 per order to do it right?
