  • We decided to find help to upgrade our builder-quality back yard landscape. We did not want a pool but wanted to increase shade and to showcase a growing interest in succulents. Ideally, a water feature, fire pit, BBQ and maybe even a spa would be involved depending on design and cost. Our tastes tend toward modern and arty. We interviewed and considered designs by 6 (!!!) local companies selected from positive reviews and intriguing photos on websites. One of the first 5 was a stand-out and we were convinced we would engage that company until we went to our 6th design presentation, Alexon Design. Not only were we presented with a 3D computer rendition of our project but the design was leagues above all other contenders. The design team considered all our interests and tastes and hit the nail on the head. Price was reasonable and timeline perfect. We walked out to Gilbert Ave to weigh our decision, took one look at each other and headed back up the stairs to book them... ASAP, please! The process was painless, crews were outstanding, work was perfection and on time, and the resulting space is even better than we imagined. On top of that, the incredible team made adjustments as we came up with them (other designers did not want our suggestions after initial design was complete!) and even created solutions to tricky placement of hot tub, among other things. They worked with HOA guidelines and city regulations and supported and made real our whims and desires to create a space unique to us. We can't recommend Alexon Design and Landscaping enough and are happy to share the good word of their creativity and professionalism. We have nothing but respect for the creativity and fine work ethic of each member of the Alexon team. I will include some photos here soon. Kate and Thom
