  • First time staying here. The room wasn't horrible but you can tell it was a little worn down especially parts of the bathroom. The window was thin and allowed in a ton of noise from the street outside and early morning beeping from construction trucks. The lighting in the room is really dark even with 3 lights on, but the lighting and pull out makeup mirror in the bathroom was great for getting ready. It's great that they have an entire floor with restaurant and shops. Makes getting a quick meal convenient. And even better that they have walking sidewalks indoors that take you to the casino floor of the Luxor! This made getting around easy and so does the tram that goes between the Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. We didn't need to take a single cab or drive to get around which made traveling with kids easy. Being that we were with kids we spent a ton of time in the Fun Dungeon. Was nice to be able to bring drinks down there as we walked around and played with the kids. One gross part is the dungeon literally smells like one. It smelled musty and like sewage. A plus for me was the fact that every public restroom I used was clean and new!! Not what I expected so 5 stars for that!! A downside is every waitress or bartender on the casino floor was slow and rude. The walkways are also small and crowded with people standing around on them. Overall I would stay again but it might not be my first choice. Will probably try the Mandalay Bay next time.
