| - OVERALL: Good, consistent Hampton Inn, but at a price...
This hotel looks like it began life as something other than a Hampton Inn. Not the typical footprint, to be sure, but that's okay.
The general condition is good, but it will need a refresh pretty soon. There is a large breakfast seating area, and this location seems to use it for lots of "manager's reception" events, which is nice. One time they were handing out free wings, beer, and wine. Another time, it was salad and pasta. Very nice.
The rooms a good, not great. I give them a 3.5 on a 5 point scale. They are clean.
The WiFi works, but is slow at times.
Checkout is quick, as with any Hampton.
The price seems really steep to me. It's next door to a Hilton Garden Inn, which ends up being priced very similarly. Not sure what Hilton Corp.'s strategy is with having two units on top of each other, price wise... Hampton has free breakfast, while Hilton Garden hands has a sit down/buffet full breakfast, but hands out free coupons to elite-status HHonors folks, so call it a wash.
