I wish there was a "zero" rating for this establishment. My 79 yo mother does not drive and needed Dr Couch for here foot care needs. She obtained a PCP referral and had an appointment on Monday. The week prior on Friday we received a vm from the front office person Candy, that the referral is in place and we "need to schedule an appointment". That was odd since mom already had an appointment. On Monday when she showed up (walking 5 miles from her house) she was turned away with Candy stating that she does not have a referral. Later in the day we got an apologetic call from Candy and Marianne, both saying that they found a referral. They faxed us new patient paperwork that we filled and faxed back the same day. We also had rescheduled the appointment for today.
So we thought. When mom, after walking another 5 miles (hard to walk on her achy feet hence the need to see a doctor, but this is our problem as I was told) came to her appointment she was turned away again - and again for the same reason: lost paperwork. No phone call to tell us they didn't get it - "Why would I call you?"- Marianne had nerve to ask us. SO 79 YEAR OLD LADY DOESN'T HAVE TO WALK!!! I could have hand delivered the paperwork-although no guarantees that they would actually retain it.
Now. Dr. Couch. People in the front office are your representatives. This is how you, you personally, appear to the outside world.
