This place is tiny, but definitely a hole-in-the-wall gem that you shouldn't overlook. The owner Lou is a neighbourhood veteran who seems to love talking about coffee as much as he loves talking about music. His drip filter stuff is all fair trade/organic and his espresso is Lavazza. He knows how to put together an excellent warm drink, especially on those frigid days we get so often here in Toronto.
He orders his bread/pastries from a neighbourhood bakery. The almond/egg croissant is outstanding.
I'm definitely looking forward to the summertime when he'll be able to add a few outdoor tables and perhaps even some live music.
