This place is pretty fantastic when it comes to Asian food and ingredients. It's always packed so you know their food made on premises is always fresh. The quality of their premade sushi is even better than most Sushi restaurants I've been to.
In addition to great premade meals they also have extensive produce, meat and fish sections. You might visit a Loblaws supercentre and be in awe of the huge area devoted to fruits and veggies, but when you look closer you realize its just the same produce as other smaller grocery stores just spread out over a larger area. T&T has the scale AND the variety.
My only complaints are that they're often stocking shelves at some of the busiest times during the day making their aisles tough to navigate when strewn with boxes. Often the boxes and carts are left in the aisles even when employees aren't currently working on them. The place is crowded enough and doesn't need additional hurdles.
They could also improve their signage to make things easier to find. Their aisles are all split down the middle by a perpendicular aisle the length of the store (Most stores usually just have the perpendicular aisle at the front with the cash registers and one at the back).
Each of those halves each has their own unique aisle sign so when traversing down the front aisle you only see the contents of the front half of the aisle and not the back half (and vice versa). So you end up spending twice as long searching for things. A minor annoyance that could be fixed by just putting the -entire- aisles contents on the signs instead of just half the aisle's contents. Now that I think about it the hot food take out section never has any of its stuff labelled. You might say thats only a problem because my inability to recognize items by sight isn't as sharp due to being an ethnic background that isn't the same as the target market, but I'm sure if Loblaws removed the labels from their take out counters, aside from the obvious, I doubt very much I'd be able to tell what many of the items were.
