  • I am a Vegas resident and fortunate enough to have checked out all the "mega" clubs here. XS located at the Wynn/Encore is definitely one of my favorites. I've seen Kaskade, David Guetta, Diplo, and Alesso numerous times for free! XS is by far, the most stunning and beautiful club out here. It has a beautiful outdoors area with a pool as well. This club is visually impressive and worth checking out even if you aren't a club goer. Even the bathroom is a sight! The vibe is always awesome as well. Everyone just wants to have a good time and I have never run into any drama the numerous times I've been here. The crowd is racially mixed and mostly young (mid twenties or so). You can't help but notice that there are a lot of attractive people as well. I have noticed that XS isn't as popular as it was compared to several years ago. It isn't as packed and the lines are not as ridiculously long. People are a bit less hot. Whether that is a good or bad thing depends on you. I personally do not want to wait in line for an hour plus to get into any club and I hate being packed like sardines. I don't ever do bottle service or tables as it is way too expensive and I can't justify the spending therefore I can't give you any advice or experiences related to that topic. I usually go out with a friend or 2 at the most and not in very large group. If we need to sit, there are a few areas outdoors where you can sit for free. We don't find guys with tables to sit with because we are all in relationships lol but that is another option for you ladies. Females are given free entrance into any club here by getting on the guestlist. Like many of the other reviews, I always use Rachel without fail. The guestlist line moves pretty fast if you arrive by 11. Just a warning that it can be a different ball game if you attempt to come with men through the guestlist. The allowed ratio is 1 male:1 female but during bigger events (ie.holiday weekends), men may not be allowed entrance through the guestlist at all. They may have to go through general admissions, wait in a different line, and pay full price. You are also given two free drinks tickets that are good until midnight. The drinks may be free but always tip your bartender. I read some complaints about guestlist people not being able to enter the indoors portion of the club. I've never had any problems with that including on major holidays and I've never bribed security but I have a theory based on my observation. Don't shoot the messenger but I have noticed that if you are rude, too intoxicated, or on the unattractive side, security is less likely to let you through. It's shallow but it is Vegas. Dress your best ladies, groom yourself, and don't be too drunk before you get into that line. Now the cons because there are a few. Usually, the main act/DJ do not show up until 2AM. I'm not a senior citizen by any means but my weekly partying days are over. Some of the other clubs have their guy out by 1AM at the latest. Another problem is the size of the indoors dance floor. They need to renovate and expand it so that people can at least move a bit. I've seen the dance floor get so shoulder to shoulder crowded that security rope it off and refuse to let anyone enter it for a while. My opinion about security (I'm going to give my 2 cents about them since everybody is doing it too) . Over the past year, they have improved. My guess is that business have slowed down with the opening of Omnia so they are doing what they can to have us return. I've never had any terrible experiences with security but there is a very rude lady who works in the guestlist area. If you politely ask her any questions, she snaps at you. lol I don't know her name but she is a short Asian woman. She is about 5'2 and is possibly Filipino. I know it is tough working with young, drunk tourists but it isn't an excuse to be rude to people for no reason. If you come here during the winter season, the outdoors area may be closed so you will not get to experience XS wholly. I truly feel that the outdoors area is what makes this club unique so you may be disappointed. I've never had anything stolen here. Maybe I've just been extremely lucky. As a local, I have not heard anything about thefts here being an inside job but who knows, anything is possible. This city isn't exactly known for having morals. lol My advice is to always keep your purse in front of you where you can see it, not to your side, your hip, or behind you. If possible, buy a purse that has an additional zip up compartment inside that is large enough for your wallet and phone and use it at any club here even if it's ugly.
