Like most of the other reviewers, a change of insurance forced me to leave my long-time doctor. After an exhaustive review of my choices with my new insurance plan I selected Dr. Alia. Parking is tight in the back of the building and there is a short walk to the door at the front of the building (almost to the sidewalk on Rural road) to enter the office. The waiting room does not have a TV nor music, but is well stocked with magazines.
Dr. Alia is kind and personable with nice sense of humor. He seems knowledgeable and makes appropriate referrals to specialists and will write a year's worth of prescriptions for routine meds. The doctor and staff carry laptops for electronic record keeping and resources. You do not feel rushed like some other offices and the doctor seems to really listen to patients and their concerns.
The office staff is friendly and helpful. I had my annual physical today and I liked that my blood draw was done during my exam instead of having to make a separate appointment at Sonora Quest or Labcorp and that Dr. Alia calls you with your lab result instead of requiring a separate appointment like some medical offices.
So far, I am impressed with this practice and would recommend it.
