| - YES CHEAPEST ON STRIP, NO, NOT WORTH IT!
CHECK IN: I don't know whether circus circus or Alegiant air lied, but I "paid in full" including tax, but had to pay an additional fee when I checked in, $7 a day resort fee! Either don't call int paid in full or include it! Liars! (Treasure Island treated me like a king).
NOTE! Every time we went to and prom our room, we had to walk through the entire casino and then though the gift shops to get to the elevators to our room! I've been to Vegas over 16 times, always a different hotel, and never saw this CRAP. It's not the walking, it's the walking through crowded passages, dodging vendors and solicitors, and smelling the old-stink. It takes over 5 minutes to get from our room to the strip. That was 20 minutes per day for seven days, a total of 140 minutes just getting OUT OF THE PLACE! (Treasure Island elevators are just on the back side of the width of the casino, 20 paces).
FOOD: Service in the Garden Grill by wait staff was trash. Bartender had some professionalism, but hostess and waitresses simply not professional. (Everywhere else was better)
FACILITIES: Rooms were Motel 6 standard, pool was small but clean, casino floor had "old" smell. Several gift shops with mostly same dollar-store quality crap. No idea why the have duplicate items in all their shops! (Treasure Island was clean, fresh, and nice gift shop).
VENDORS: Can't walk through the casino to the hotel elevators without being badgered by vendors. Literally over 7 different vendors heckle you EVERY time you walk to or from the hotel elevators EVERY time! And we stayed for a week! So that was at least 4 x 7 = 28 times! One of these clowns even said "There you are! I was looking for you!" GO F YOURSELF! I hate that BS! (Never experienced this at any other casino)
BUFFET: Get this! They ARE NOT OPEN from morning opening to evening closing! THEY ARE CLOSED between meals! So UNLIKE every other buffet I have been to (ALL the major ones in Vegas), if you show up in between scheduled meals, you can't get it! STUPID! So we went elsewhere. (See the seven buffet reviews I did of this trip alone for alternatives)
ROCK PUB: They have a rock pub there. Fun, but beer pong events just icky! Check this out, it is the number one way herpes is spread. When we walked in, it looked like a frat party of folks well past college age. THAT is simply sad. (Go to the Flamingo Piano bar)
Seems to be a magnet for people who don't have boundaries.
We saved a little per night for staying there. Won't ever happen again. We decided that the Travel Lodge next door would have been the same price, and we wouldn't have to deal with all this crap.
