This hotel is undergoing major renovation, but don't let that keep you away. The construction stops by 5:30 PM and I could hear none of it upon arrival on my guest floor.
Having said that, I found my newly renovated room to be both functional and comfortable. There are a plethora of charger and USB outlets at the desk and on both sides of the bed - a huge plus for those of us who travel with multiple devices. There is ample closet and drawer storage for clothes, a flat screen TV, Keurig coffee maker with K-cups, and a small microwave oven. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower with an adjustable head. The room is well lit; I found the "touch on" dimmable study lamp on the desk especially cool.
This brand offers a free breakfast, but since I had a breakfast meeting with a local colleague I did not partake. This location is just a few blocks from the King Street subway station from which one can access Toronto's PATH system of underground walkways filled with shops, restaurants, and people - quite cool!
I'd easily stay here again.
