The five star rating may be a tad overstated BUT the staff at this location cannot be beat. I was donating some clothes at this location in early July of last summer, as I was making a futile attempt to part with some unused items and gain back some needed closet space. As I parked my car and proceeded to the side entrance of the store I took cursory notice of a woman kneeling down attempting to provide water to an unruly canine. Now it is important to note that I had a large garbage bag hoisted upon my right shoulder and that my mid section was exposed and that it was one of the hottest days of the summer. I would later learn, after having this aforementioned canine tear up a good chunk of my stomach, that he had been left out in this atrocious heat for the better part of two hours!!
As my white t-shirt turned to red after being bit by this Pitbull-Chesapeake cross I was amazed at how quickly Value Village staff came to my aid. they called the police, administered various ointments and gauze and made sure that the dog owner (who was aimlessly shopping inside) didn't attempt to flee the scene. They even offered transportation to the hospital and 15% off my next visit. Now that's customer service.
