I purchased an item on-line for in-store pick up. Half a day after placing the order - no email to prompt pick up. I went to store, found the it myself and went to the check-out. Register 1 had a customer. Registers 2 & 3 had to salesgirls discussing their work schedules. I stood at Register 2 waiting so long a new customer was now being served BEFORE ME at register 1 by the only person actually working. Seeing my annoyance clerk 1 asked the others if they were going to help someone. I then asked, "Are you open?" The reply was she is something or other and I'm getting off in 10 minutes. Whooooo cares! I began to explain the lack of confirmation of the item pick up and that I wanted to either take the items as paid, or pay for it and cancel the on-line order. There was no intelligent life nor remorse on the part of Barbie and Skipper and the drama about their work schedules holding up a customer, the manager's reply was basically, "I dunno." It's 35 hrs now still no reply and the ONLY options for customer service direct you to specific areas non of which are in-store experiences. I'll have to wait for Monday during my work time to call the corporate office. Early I had a wonderful experience at the PV Mall store and even decided to put Kohl's off putting 'it's on sale' games aside and opened a charge and rewards card with them. Both will be cancelled post haste. The lack of accessibility furthers my impression that Kohl's considers their customers to be stupid and insignificant hence the shell game provided by their 'sales', this was trip three in as many years to Kohl's and the third time is a charm, I will spare myself the bother three times is enough. I wish I had the name of the young lady on register 1 - she deserves a medal for putting up with her coworkers and checking out 6 people to their NONE!
