  • This one's a winner. The closest I had ever come to soul food was that Aretha Franklin scene in The Blues Brothers. So, I had to try this place since I was in town. Super friendly service that is very patient and helpful for any newbie. Even the other patrons were friendly and helpful. Based on all the local clientelle that came in during my meal, it must be really authentic. It all tasted great, was very filling, and the prices were reasonable.
