  • Coming from the Los Angeles area, I really did love the concept of this place. They have a full bar and games/pool and such, to enjoy when you arrive before your movie. In town for Christmas, we though it was a great chance to catch the new Star Wars. My husband and I had two rounds of drinks at the bar, then headed into the theater. We then had two more rounds of drinks inside the theater. My major gripe/complaint is that the charges for my drinks at the bar were not the same as what we were charged in the theater. We were drinking double shots of Jameson, on the rocks, with a little water. At the bar, we were charged $17 for each round (two drinks total). In the theater, it was double that, around $36 for two drinks. Imagine my surprise when we get two appetizers ($15 total for the apps), and two drinks each, and the bill is $85! They charged for each shot, at the rate of the first shots. When you order a double, you should never charge for each shot. The second (double) shot should always come at a discount of some sort. I'm not sure what their business practice is, but that just doesn't seem right. $85 for 4 drinks and two apps? Ridiculous. I wouldn't have ordered drinks inside the theater if I knew that was going to happen. Either the bartender out front didn't know how to charge correctly, or the server inside didn't. Was not very happy with our experience, and felt very ripped off. Won't return. It's distracting, anyways. Especially when the food runner is delivering things throughout the theater and barely even trying to whisper.
