  • Meh... Pretty good but quite standard ice cream, great selection of unique flavours but overall the ice cream itself is just average cream based ice cream. I've had better and made better myself. I think the hype and the swooning over this place had really elevated my expectations, again it's not bad by any means, its pretty good, it's just not as hype worthy as most of the others who have written a review for this place, as i just don't get the rave reviews, maybe it was the first time they've had ice cream? either way i honestly don't see any reason for the hype as there is MUCH better ice cream in this city, but this place will do. Ed's is still way better than commercial brands, but again, it's nothing "wow" inducing or mind blowing, it's simply decent ice cream. very much on par with baskin and robbins... although if I'm looking for top notch ice cream,. Bang BANG Ice Cream, Bakerbots and Gregs ice cream are better imo, and Sweet Jesus gets a nod because of their extreme creativity and what they do with simple soft serve. Don't believe the hype.
