I have been to this urgent care approximately 10 times, once or twice for myself and a number of times with my kids (they are both athletes). I have been reasonably satisfied until today. I'm done! I will never visit this urgent care again.
The online "reservation" system is the biggest JOKE of all time. I waited an hour and half today after our reservation time before we even saw the provider with a sick and nauseous kid. We waited an hour "online" which is supposed to replace waiting in the office. Which means we would have waited almost FOUR hours for a 60 second office visit? The front desk person said, "Well, it's not a guaranteed appointment, it's just a reservation." A reservation that means nothing! Why do them?
After 90 minutes of waiting, the provider cracks the door open and peeks her head in and says, "Oh, how are you doing?" but doesn't fully enter the room. It was like she wasn't going to come in and then decided to do the exam as an afterthought. No apology, no nothing. It was a bizarre experience!
The physical exam was very cursory - maybe 90 seconds. A couple of simple tests and we left after spending nearly 3 hours of our lives that we will never get back. And no answers to the symptoms.
This office is totally mismanaged by Banner:
1. Pointless, absurd "reservation" system
2. Lack of empathy and transparent communication from the front office to providers for wait times
3. WHY ONLY ONE PROVIDER on a holiday weekend with this patient volume? Get more providers and maybe you could actually meet patient demand and satisfy your customers and make more money.
