  • This is the worst nail salon I have ever experienced in my life.....seriously. I went to get a pedicure and manicure. I asked for shellac on my fingernails...big mistake. 1. They didn't file my nails evenly at all 2. They didn't really give me a pedicure, they didn't get rid of any dead skin, just left my feet soaking in water for 20 minutes 3. They didn't treat cuticles to make nails look neat and clean 4. The french tips were all uneven 5. The guy doing my nails had long nails and he kept digging them into the sides of my fingers...so gross and it hurt! 6. It cost $74 before tip and my nails chipped the same night. (And only one guy in the entire salon knew how to do french manicures....no one else could do it, so we had to wait for him). 7. When I went back to get my nails fixed, the guy (who I think was the manager) argued with me and said that my nails are too long for a manicure and any nail polish including shellac won't last. WHAT??? I get manicures all the time! And I do them better myself at home!??!!! And they last an entire week. This guy went on to say that he didn't have time to fix the 5 nails that were chipped or uneven so he would only do 2 of them. When I said that wasn't right because shellac is supposed to last 2 weeks, he said that I only paid $74 (plus tip which they didn't deserve) and I get what I pay for and that $74 isn't a lot of money! WTF! So we are now going to argue what is and isn't a lot of money?? Seriously. I will never ever go back to this place. They have no idea what customer service is and I don't think they are trained professionals on shellac either. You'd be better off going to any other place in Calgary.
