  • Their name says it all - the food is fresh (tons of pre-prepared meals ready to bake, grill, etc.) it makes the whole meal planning process easy. Sadly, this is a struggling supermarket chain; the local news reported recently that they are on the verge of going out of business because they haven't turned a profit a single month since being open in the States. It saddens me because this is truly one of my favorite stores. I only wish they were closer! Here's what I truly love about this store: *Their chicken breasts are HUGE and often on sale for only $1.99/lb. It's trimmed well and I find I end up with a lot more usable meat than I do with other stores. * Their low fat cottage cheese is the BOMB! Tastes amazing! * They have lavash in both white and wheat - this is hard to find in most grocery stores. * Great pricing on almonds, with tons of flavors - plain, wasabi, smoked, etc. * I love their Jasmine Rice (in the frozen section). It's the perfect serving size, tastes amazing and is a quick 3 mins. in the microwave. * Their $5 California Love wine is actually good - and I don't usually drink cheap wine. * Their produce is fresh and reasonably priced. I get my salad greens, my broccoli, my peppers, my mushrooms, avocados, and asparagus here! * I love their frozen mixed peppers, blueberries & mixed berries. *They have great prices on shredded cheese and it's one of the few places I know of where I can get a bag of fresh grated parmesan. *They have tons of spices for $1-$3! *Nice selection of Salmon, Pork Chops, Steak, Ground Turkey and more. I don't get my milk, butter, eggs, yoplait yogurt, or other name brand products here. For things like cereal, soup, chips, etc. the pricing is better elsewhere. But for your protein and produce, this is hands down the best place in town! Tip: Every week they have a coupon in their store flier - it's usually $5 off a $30 purchase. But if you sign up for their rewards card you can earn points to exchange online for additional coupons. We generally have a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase.
