I needed to pick up some plants for our plot in our community garden. I remembered driving past Cavotta's a few times and liking the lushness of the hanging pots and plants that you can see from the road. I pulled in, headed out back and found perfectly organized, labeled and elevated flats with an amazing variety of tomatoes, peppers, some great cucumbers and herbs ... and I got to shop with some friendly chickens!!
I looked longingly at their beautiful hanging pots, but we have no place to put them, so I bought my little veggie plants, had a great chat with the owner and headed home. The plants from Cavotta's were amazing! They immediately outpaced the plants in the other plots --- and I came back to get a cucumber plant for a fellow gardener after a rabbit destroyed her first growth. She asked where we got our plants, so I offered to bring her a couple cucumber plants -- she was thrilled with ones I brought back - they immediately caught up to her other plants and she's enjoying her delicious burpless cucumbers.
I can't recommend Cavotta's highly enough. They care about their customers and everything I've ever bought there has thrived! They're worth the drive, and while you're there, take some time to tell the staff what you want to grow -- you may go home with some new favorites - they're that good!!!
