  • If you're looking for a fantastic beer experience in a fantastic setting, don't miss Sycamore Brewing! We happened in for a visit before a Panthers game since Sycamore Brewing is probably the closest brewery to BOA Stadium. But in addition to its convenient location, it's just a wonderful spot to quaff a brew for many reasons... First, you've got a nice bier garden outside with some umbrellas for cover. Inside, Sycamore has the usual beer bar feel but also a large side area with indoor seating that's more like a restaurant, very nice. Decor is definitely something that Sycamore has worked extensively on, it's a polished feel and not your usual utilitarian warehouse feel you get at many breweries. It's a place where you can sit back, relax with some conversation and enjoy the beer. Which is REALLY important since the beer here at Sycamore is quite good! A lot of different beer styles with a twist, I tried out an apricot wheat and a vanilla session ale, both were very nicely brewed. So go go go, Sycamore Brewing! I'd love to have a similar brewery back home but until then, I'll just have to wait for my next visit to the CLT for your great beer and ambiance...
