YUM! I love Mediterranean food and have been wanting to try Omnivore since I moved to Montreal. What I really wanted was the Ominvore platter, as I love to be able to try many different things with my meal. However, I had a late lunch and didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I would if more hungry.
Instead, I went with the Djaj sandwich - a very traditional wrap with grilled chicken, garlic sauce, turnip, and pickles. It was fantastic! The portion size was perfect and all the flavours went really well together.
As I waited for my sandwich for takeout (which did take a little while), I got to see all of the other wonderful things people were ordering! The various salads looked amazing, as did the Omnivore dish.
I can't wait to come back! The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and, given the wait time, I will probably plan to eat in next time.
