  • I'm giving this place two stars because my manicure ended up being good, but overall, I was shocked by a lot of the things my manicurist said and did to me during my time here. I went to Le Nails on the first weekend that it opened to take advantage of the 25% off deal. I never got my manicurist's name, but she is a short Asian woman with short black hair and glasses. She was really nice at first, but then she started being a little strange and very rude. The first thing that really ticked me off was that she pointed out my cuticles several times, 3 times exactly. She said things like, "Your cuticles are so bad" and "You have so many cuticles", like really? These aren't things you're supposed to say to someone. I mean, I knew my cuticles were bad and they're the main reason why I went to go get my nails done in the first place, but I didn't appreciate her rude comments to me. The next few things were a bit strange to me and I don't think they're that big of a deal, but I've been to quite a few nail salons and I've never seen any manicurist or pedicurist do these things. Usually manicurists put lotion on your arms and hands and massage them too, but the one I had at Le Nails put lotion AND oil mixed together on my arms and hands and she barely massaged them. I think she rubbed it all in for about 10 seconds. Next, when she was washing my hands with a damp towel, the towel was absolutely SCALDING hot and my hands turned so red. I understand that hot water cleans things off better, but that was a bit much. Finally, when she was painting my nails, if she would mess up on a nail, she would wipe off all the nail polish with her finger instead of a brush and acetone or something. She also constantly dipped the nail polish brush into acetone. I thought that was really weird. I've never seen anyone do that. The absolute worst thing she did really shocked me and I didn't even know what to do. But first, the manicure was $15 and she charged me $12. That is absolutely not 25% off. But I'm not one to make a scene and complain, so I just let it be. Anyway, I had my $2 tip for her halfway out of my wallet, she sees it, and she automatically and greedily says, "Is that for me?!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I had no idea what to do or say, I was so shocked. I just gave that greedy woman her tip. At the end of my appointment she constantly told me to recommend the nail salon to my friends and family, and she even gave me a little card and pamphlet of all their information, but I will not recommend Le Nails to anyone. In fact, I will recommend to everyone to NOT go to Le Nails. Like I said, my manicure turned out good, but the service I had during my appointment was unbelievable.
