| - If you selectively choose the most furious animals in public zoos (e.g. golden tigers, white tigers, white lions, and leopards) and add few more dolphins, then the result of this combination will be this mini-zoo located in the back-end of the Mirage Casino.
Ticket: General admission = $22 per adult (last admission at 4 PM - garden closes at 5 PM); if you are interested in activities such as "Painting With the Dolphins" ($159+), "Trainer for a Day" ($495+), one-hour behind the scenes VIP tour ($200+), then you will need to call or book ahead of time.
The general admission is really just a 30 ~ 45 minute self guided tour within the garden (smaller than I anticipated) & the dolphin pools. All I did was strolling around the garden, taking pictures of animals, and listening to various Q&As about dolphin during the training sessions (training session typically occurs once a hour). In addition, there were a small sustainability exhibit within the dolphin gift shop and an underground dolphin viewing area (pretty easy to miss).
General admission isn't cheap by all mean (just as expensive as other public zoos) and you only get to see couple animals, but you do get a closer view of dolphins, tigers, and lions. I think it is worth a visit just to see those cute dolphins.
P.S. - Siegfried & Roy ended their popular illusion show in 2003 due to unfortunate attack by the white tiger.
