I recently stayed at the Venetian on July 28, 2017 for one night in one of their suites. When I woke up in the morning I noticed I had several bug bites all over my legs, feet and several on my shoulders/arms. I was the only one in my family to sit on the couches and sleep on the pull out sofa bed. I went down to the lobby after checking out and spoke with an employee about the situation and was told to call customer service in regards to the issue. Once I called and complained they supposedly checked the room and told me since the room came back negative they are not liable for the bites. Since my bites seemed to be getting worse I ended up having to go to urgent care and was told I was having an allergic reaction to the bug bites which also caused my body to have a virus. I immediately called the hotel back and they were still saying they couldn't do anything for me.
I would think paying $800 for one night at the Venetian we would be treated differently about this situation.
