| - OH HOW I LOVE TRADER JOE'S!
If I could marry Trader Joe's, I would. The only thing I don't like about our relationship is the parking situation at this one--often I have to drive around for 5-10 minutes before making my way into a spot. I have found that going between 6-9pm on a Tuesday or Thursday is the best bet. Noon, any of the the week, especially Sunday? Don't expect a quick trip--TJ's will be full of people.
Trader Joe's has great prices, healthy food, and things you won't find anywhere else. Some of my favorites that you should try: the bakery naan, pretzel rolls, whole corn mini tortillas (all in the bread section), sweet basil and pesto smoked chicken and turkey sausages, the prepared chicken meatballs, their TJ's brand yogurt, reasonably priced smoked gouda, fruit leather, the "four buck chuck" (it is more expensive in Ohio than Illinois, for some reason pertaining to liquor laws and taxes?), TJ's sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, etc. etc. etc.
Basically: you can't go wrong at Trader Joe's. Shop here for a much healthier, much more delicious selection of nearly anything that your regular grocery store has, and for (usually) less $$$!
The only thing I'll warn you against is TJ's kleenex. The boxes are witty but the facial tissue inside FEELS like recycled paper.
