| - The room we had is a wonderful room, the bed was awesome, we upgraded and had a dunking pool and fireplace outside of our room and it was really nice. The staff is amazing all were friendly and accommodating since we had our baby with us they were very nice about bringing her animal crackers, juices, blankets for a pallet etc..
this is the reason they do not get 5 stars....
The down side for me was the restaurants, the first night we went to the restaurant just across from the check in and it has great views outside very nice sitting, but the food was just terrible, we got the beets, pickled veggies, gazpacho tomatoes (this is not a gazpacho), Cheese biscuits ( I cant remember what they called this) but it is a biscuit with cheese in the middle. Then we had room service for dinner and the steak was well cooked and good, the chips and salsa is so bad I have had better in the Philippines and they use ketchup in theirs, the guacamole was nothing but smashed up avocados, the chips were terrible, the rolls were good. The cookies and milk was good but if you mess up a cookie and milk you really have problems.
The breakfast was maybe the only meal we had here that was okay, but honestly is it nothing special and the prices are astronomical. I had the waffle and my guy had eggs.
The Proof restaurant was closed our entire stay for a meeting so I am not sure about this place. Unless some of the room service food was from this restaurant. I cant be sure.
The last day I ordered out for delivery from an off site restaurant (mexican food) and it was way less expensive and it is 5 stars worthy.
the morning we left we ordered 2 pots of coffee one decaf and one reg it was 35$ not including the tip for room service.
I am not complaining I am simply giving a heads up.
***my biggest pet peeve for the place was the toilet lids , they slam shut it is a huge noise the no slam toilet seat are not expensive and it is the
