Since we had such abysmal lack of service at Boston Pizza, my friend and I came to our old standby-- The Fox and the Fiddle.
Our server was amazing. Quick with drinks and always made sure to come by and offer another. In fact, being a server myself, I'd say that she really knew her job and took care of her section with a great attitude, speed and friendliness without being fake. Lady, I don't know what your name was, but if you are reading this, I'd like to let you know that you are my pick for server of the year!
Unfortunately, our nachos (which are normally pretty close to perfect) consisted of chips that were mostly stale. Not badly stale but definitely not the delicious house made crispiness that we are used to. We didn't send them back because we were really hungry and half the chips were ok.
This place is like home and even when I fault it, I still love it. But I can't figure out the bad Top 40 tunes blaring from the speakers. Most of the patrons looked to be over 30 (including us). Maybe twitch the DMX to something a little more listener friendly or more of an upbeat mix rather than just tweenie tunes.
Despite this we still had a great time.
