I stopped by two weeks ago to get a sports coat and a couple pairs of slacks. I left the slacks to be hemmed and was told they'd be ready in two weeks. So I come back two weeks later in the early afternoon and they're not ready. Really?!?!?! "They're working on them now." How damned long does it take to hem a pair of slacks? What is it with the clothing retailers that this is the normal practice? You get X orders in a given day for hemming. Hem X the NEXT DAY! This way, your customer can come pick them up the day after. Why not this? There's simply no excuse for telling your customers that it's going to take two weeks, especially when you still can't deliver the goods given that enormous amount of time. This is why you're closing stores at a record rate an Amazon is running you off the road!
