5 stars for the Lemonade. Homemade lemonade done right and really well. I mean this is the stuff, right here.
One can buy the Lemonada "good stuff" per glass or bottomless for $2.49.
I walked in and noticed a flyer for help wanted and I'm seriously thinking of applying as I do need the tip money. I have done too much travelling and plus, I like this place. I mean I like it for what it's worth and trying to do. Or so I perceive.
Here's the dealy-o...
Good: The Lemonade, of course.
The grilled cheese. It was not as thick as I had at The Noble a la Milwaukee nor Salt Grass Steakhouse but it worked. The 3 cheeses meshed well together. I was impressed with the collaboration.
The ladies had an omelet type sandwich - one with bacon, one with avocado. They made accommodations for one with no cilantro with just a bit of cilantro hiding out. The no cilantro lady said the plate offering was more than she expected and couldn't finish it.
Both ladies lady shared their oven potatoes. A few were under cooked.
Paying at the register - they prefer cash and there's an ATM.
Large leather brown sofas await your heiny if you have to wait for a table or just want to have a family talk away from the table so more people can eat.
Plus, I don't see how the service won best service. I didn't read the huge banner saying such but I read Corey D's review stating such and was like there's no way. It wasn't busy and we were all first timers so the ladies took forever looking over the menu while I reviewed, in advance, to know what I want. I've had better service. I've given better service. Yet, something I've noticed as of late is I've had to ask for refills at several places in town. I don't know what that's about but it's water - please top off any and every glass.
