  • We moved to citrine last year in beginning of June. We recently just moved down to old town because our lease was up and we didn't want to renew our lease because our rent was gonna go up. When we first moved into citrine the community was still pretty new so it wasn't very full. It started getting full a couple of months later. Moving from the Crescent in North Scottsdale to Citrine was a big change but we loved it. Their dog park was fabulous and my frenchie loved going and playing with other dogs, we made friends every time we went to the dog park. The view from the roof top garage was amazing, and so was the view from the gym. Maintenance was great, every time I put a service request they would show up and fix it right away. The reason I didn't give Citrine a 5 star was because it started to become not so safe. Their were many incidents were dogs were attacking other dogs. I didn't feel safe taking my frenchie out because I was always so afraid of a dog even coming close to her. These incidents kept happening to the point were their was also and incident were a dog attacked a resident. They should really consider in having breed restriction especially with heavier and bigger breeds. And make sure their residents confirm their dogs breed. Another reason I gave this a 3 star rating is because whenever someone complains about something and about the littlest things, they automatically give you an eviction notice, no warning whatsoever. Previous communities that I've lived at they always issue a warning before an actual 5-10 day notice. It was frustrating, but Issues always got resolved which was good. No hate on Citrine, my boyfriend and I really loved living here. It was just becoming a little chaotic, and they slowly started to give up on their dog park. Which for me a dog park is very important because I want my frenchie to be able to go out and play and do her business. When we first moved in the park was green and well kept by the time our lease was coming up there wasn't any green lol. It was all dried up and it smelled really bad. I honestly stopped taking my frenchie out there because I didn't want her to get sick or catch something. If you don't have a pet, and you just want to live at citrine because of its location and how it's surrounded by great places then I highly recommend it. You don't have to be worrying about your dogs getting bit or attacked.
